Architect is responsible to a Building Committee (a Committee of the University Council) including in its constitution members of the local architectural and engineering professions, both Government and independent, laymen, and representatives of the University Council.

For this work the Consultant Architect has also the assistance or a local firm of Architects, as Associated Architects, his own draughtsman staff, and a suitable Inspector of Works who is on the University staff.

Basis of Application:

This application is based on a report, I.U.C./E.18 /50, of two representatives of the Inter-University Council for Higher Education in the Colonies as a consequence of a Visitation in April, 1950. The report was adopted by the Inter-University Council for Higher Education in the Colonies.
